About Rosholt
The Village of Rosholt may not be known by many outside of Portage County, but it offers a lot for it’s residents. Rosholt reported a population of 506 during the 2010 census, giving it that true Small Town USA feeling.
Rosholt is the home of the Portage County Fair, which happens at the end of August every year. The fair offers live music, carnival rides, fair food, and even has a demolition derby to close out the fair. Rosholt is also home to some exceptional local restaurants. The Brick Pit House is one of these local stops and is known for it’s smoked ribs and chicken.
